WORKSHOPS

Workshop Offerings
September 3, 2025 - November 19, 2025
Wednesdays From 10:00am - 11:30am
All are Welcome Anytime - No RSVP Needed

Our workshops are designed to tap into our unconscious through quieting ourselves. Journaling, movement, finding ourselves through the Enneagram and exploring Centering Prayer are all ways we travel into our own lives and our own stories, and where we meet God along the way. The more available we are to God, the more available we are to truly love ourselves, one another and the world. In a safe space, we are free to explore the depths of our souls, search for meaning, and share as we see fit, all within our spiritual community. We believe that when we can bridge the gap between our busy minds and the Spirit, through creativity and listening, we become more aware of our purpose for what God has for us while in turn allows us to be more compassionate towards ourselves and others.

  • Nature Wander

    Jennifer will guide us on a nature wander which invites us into deeper understanding of ourselves and inner wisdom through movement and sharing.  These sessions will be facilitated by Jennifer Reeve of RememberYourWings.com.

    Meeting Times:
    9.3 | 10.1 | 11.5
    {Flying J Ranch Trail - Main Lot}

  • Enneagram Workshop

    Sylvia Olney will guide us through the Enneagram and teach us its strengths and weaknesses in relation to learning to be present to the Holy Spirit in our lives, and how to practice moving beyond "making a self." We will learn how to simply be with what arises in our perception and become acquainted with the stillness that makes it more likely to perceive how God is working in our lives. On the way, we can grow in compassion for ourselves and consequently for our family members and friends. At the same time, we stand to notice how the way we have been made can serve a purpose in the work of God's Kingdom on Earth.

    Meeting Times:
    9.17 | 10.15 | 11.19
    St. Laurence Church
    {26812 Barkley Road, Conifer}

  • Centering Prayer

    Centering Prayer is a form of meditation based on ancient Christian Contemplative tradition.  In Centering Prayer, our aim is to let go of our thoughts and make space for our idea of the divine to enter into our sacred indwelling in a deeper way.  This practice brings about transformation into a more Christ conscious life and a spirit that is more connected to the divine and its generative powers in daily living.

    Meeting Times:
    9.24 | 10.22
    St. Laurence Church
    {26812 Barkley Road, Conifer}

  • Journal Collage

    Journaling as a spiritual practice means that we begin with the longing to come closer to God through our journaling.  Like all spiritual practices, it begins with the trust that God is active at the heart of our lives and the life of the world.  It begins with our openness to trusting in the transforming power of Christ’s Spirit to lead us closer to our true selves and to God. Jane will lead us through this practice of writing out your thoughts that can help organize your thinking, work through complicated emotions, and tune in to your creativity.

    Meeting Times:
    10.29
    St. Laurence Church
    {26812 Barkley Road, Conifer}

“The coming to consciousness is not a discovery of some new thing; it is a long and painful return to that which has always been”. - Helen Luke
